Horns
Nearly all browbirds have at least one set of horns growing from their heads. Browbird horns continue growing throughout the browbird's entire life, and they are incredibly difficult to break. Most browbirds spend time tending to their horns by keeping them polished and shaving them down slightly to prevent them from growing too long.
✦ General Horn Size and Shape
Browbird horns vary widely in size and shape. The maximum size and complexity of a set of horns is often determined by rarity. Smaller, single sets of horns will usually be common, while larger horns or horns that have more branches will be rarer.
✦ Horn Color
They can be any color and can have gradients. Both horns can have different colors.
✦ Horn Patterns or Markings
Horn markings have no rarity by themselves and you are able to add stripes, spots, diamonds, ect to your horns. However, to add markings such as stars, runes, constellations, crescent moons, or sparkles to your horns you will need the rare body marking to do so. You can see all rare markings in additional traits.
✦ Glowing Accents on Horns
Horns with glowing markings, engravings, or insides (in the case of broken horns) would all be considered mythic and can be added for free if you have the glowing marking trait.
✦ Horns not shown here
Hiros can have horns in the shape of wings or connected like a halo.
Ancients can have very detailed antlers or horns made of/naturally growing materials like ice, flowers, or crystals
Revenants can have horns that look skeletal or floating horn variants.
Halvs can have various horn mutations

Horn Customization
These traits can be applied to any horn type, and multiple additional horn traits can be present on a design at a time.
★ Common additional horn traits can be freely added to a characters horns. They are minor texture alterations to the standard smooth horn. You do NOT have to include the "Smooth" trait or "scratched" feature, but you should include "Spiral" or "Drake" if used on your horns. If you do not have mismatched horns, then the additional horn trait should be mirrored on both sides.
★ Horn carvings are an uncommon trait. If you do not have access to an uncommon trait, you can also earn horn carvings for your character through the Engraving Memories quest. Carvings can be on only one horn, or both. The carvings can look different on each horn. They can be anything from simple to complex. In browbird culture, horn carvings are highly regarded. These carvings are often used to tell stories and mark important moments in a characters life. Since horns take a very long time to return to the earth, even though a person may die and their body will fade, their horns will remain long after they pass on. People thousands of years later will still be able to look at the carvings and know that someone had a life full of stories to tell.
★ Broken Horns are a rare trait. You can have one broken horn or both. Broken horns are planned for a trait quest in the future. Browbird horns are extremely hard to break, but it is possible with enough force. Broken horns are seen as signs of a great defeat or failure. Horn breaking has also been used as a way to mark, punish, or shun someone as well for a betrayal or misdeed. If someone were to have carved horns that were also broken, it is seen as taking that persons accomplishments and stories away.
★ Rosethorn is a rare trait. It adds small thorns to the horn. These can be placed randomly or in a line. They can be different lengths, but should still be kept fairly short.
★ Mismatched Horns is a rare trait. It allows for each horn to be a different type/size/shape/style. This does not account for color, horns do not need the mismatched trait to be different colors.
★ Other Customization
There are some customization options not shown here, such as horn accessories or rings. You can have piercings or very small deliberate holes on your horns. Example.
