Ancient Browbirds
Ancients are highly respected members of browbird society. They are often the ones who take on high ranking positions such as the leader of a city, a saint, or decorated warrior to name a few examples. They are essentially the closest thing to true royalty that exists in mainstream browbird society,, and most ancients will have the chance to live a life of luxury if that interests them. They have extended lifespans of up to 2000 years, and an incredible amount of magical potential.
Being born as an ancient is up to complete chance, there is no possible way to predict who will be an ancient. It could be anyone, at any point, although the chances are small. Along with this title, they will also have heavy responsibility from a very young age.
For those not blessed with being an ancient from birth, it is also possible to dedicate many years of study and training into gaining aspect mastery, but this would require the most difficult training imaginable, an unbreakable will, and complete dedication for many years.

To be considered an ancient, a browbird needs at least ONE aspect mastery trait.
Aspect Slots
Ancient browbirds can have up to four aspects. Every ancient will have 4 slots by default, at least one slot must be filled for a browbird to be approved, however you can save a slot for later if you aren't sure what to go with.
Free Traits
Ancient browbirds can have certain traits added to them for free.
While normally mythic, can be added to any ancient design at no extra cost as a bonus during the creation period. They will be labeled as "ancient" and cannot be swapped out for other ancient traits or mythic traits once on a design.

With intense magical abilities like that of an ancient, glowing eyes is to be expected.

An ancient's crest can be white.

Allows for large amounts of the aura to be visible on the design, usually taking various shapes that surround the character and reflect their aspect in some way.

Ancient Exclusive Traits
There are some unique traits that only ancients can have. They stand out from those of a standard browbird, clearly marking the individual as an ancient browbird.
Ancient Horns
There are several large varieties of horns specific to ancients. They are often complex and multi branching, sometimes even resembling trees.

Phoenix Tails
These are long, detailed tails that resemble that of a phoenix. They are made of a unique mix of fur and feathers and often have patterns and various branching parts.

Symbol Crest
The crest takes on the shape of a unique symbol or rune of your own creation that is specific to the browbird. These symbols should be specific, rather than generic shapes.

Aspect Mastery Traits
For browbirds who fully dedicate themselves to learning magic, they will eventually achieve complete mastery of one of their aspects. Through this, it is possible to become an ancient, and thus open up an entirely new world of magical possibility. Those who master an aspect are fully in tune with it, and can completely control that aspect.
All ancients have mastery over at least one of their aspects, and many will eventually work to obtain mastery over all aspects they possess. The aspects they have mastery over will start to cause various effects to appear on the ancient's body. These are referred to as elemental traits, and elemental traits listed below are only available to ancient browbirds.
--> To have a specific elemental trait, the character must have the matching aspect. If you want horns made of crystal, you need the crystal aspect.
--> You can have elemental traits from different aspects on the same design. If you want crystal horns and an arm made of wood, your character will need both the crystal and wood aspect.
--> You do not need to have a trait for every aspect.
--> You are able to apply multiple elemental traits of the same aspect. If you want crystal horns and a crystal arm, you can do that! It would be 2 ancient traits total.

Aspects that can show physical ancient traits are:
- Fire --> Bright Glowing flames, can be any color
- Water --> Swirling waves, usually in shades of blue, teal, black, gray, green, or purple. May have fish inside.
- Frost --> Cold ice, can be smooth or jagged, can be any color
- Wind --> Clouds or smoke! Can be any color
- Wood --> Can be any color with a nice wood texture, it can grow leaves and flowers too!
- Stone --> Rough and smooth stones are fine, molten rock, crumbling sandstone, and glass are also possible!
- Crystal --> Any type of gemstone
- Arcane --> An effect that mirrors the crest in some way, and will match in its color
- Metal --> Any type of metallic substance, such as gold, silver, bronze, and so on! It will be very shiny and reflective.
- Lightning --> Crackling lighting strikes and storm clouds
- Light --> Bright glowing beams of light
- Shadows --> Pitch black shadows that can change shape. Sometimes they drip with dark ooze.
- Astral --> Dark and full of bright stars, your very own night sky.
- Blood --> Dripping blood that matches the character's blood color.
- Bone --> Normally takes the form of bone plating growing over the fur
- Illusions --> Makes the area lightly see-through and ghost-like
